Can I subscribe to multiple products?+
API subscribers get MCP included. Cafe + Compare stack on the same account. Compliance can be added to any tier as an annual add-on.
Is there a free trial?+
Public demos are live at /demo (lookup), /compare-demo (cross-state), and /compliance-sample (gap report). For extended evaluation, book a call and we'll provision a 30-day demo key.
What counts against the API rate limit?+
Every call to
/v1/pauth-lookup and /v1/compare. Static edge-cached hits count. Admin plans bypass. Exceeding the limit returns HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header.Do you accept PHI?+
No. Auth57 processes only published regulatory data. We are not a HIPAA Business Associate and no BAA is required. Full detail at /security.
What does “verified” actually mean?+
Every rule in the dataset is human-reviewed against a named primary source (state agency manual, CMS memorandum, payer formulary). The response includes
source_url and last_verified so you can always audit.Can we negotiate enterprise terms?+
Yes. Multi-seat Compliance, custom SLAs, PHI-free workflows with a BAA, or annual API volume above 100k calls/month — book a call. We'll share enterprise pricing and MSA options.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Monthly plans: yes, anytime via your dashboard or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans are pro-rated per the Terms of Service.
Do prices change?+
We notify active subscribers at least 30 days before any price change takes effect for them. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the new price applies.
Enterprise or unusual use case?
Multi-seat Compliance, custom annual API volume, white-label MCP, or a different shape entirely. Fifteen minutes usually tells us if we're a fit.
